I learn Japanese. In fact, it means blue, and the full word is aoi.You write it like this: 青い (kanji for ao + i in hiragana).
btw green is midori and it's a noun, while aoi is an adjective ^^ so you would say aoi me (blue eye) but midori no me (LITERALLY green's eye but of course you translate it as green eye.
And ao is probably a noun for blue so it means blue as a color, not as a color OF something.
I wrote it just in case you wanted to know :)
He's cool. A bit like a Syberian Husky xDDD

Ah, thank you so much for the lesson! ^3^ I don't learn Jap, so I don't know details like this :) I only knew that 'ao' is used in green vegetables/blue sky. I learn Chinese and it's (pretty) similar, we also use it for green vegetables/blue sky :) That's why, I thought this kanji is kinda cool and abused it :DSiberian Huskyyyyy xD It's a very cool dog, thanks! :D
