PaintChat

Paintchat is a program that allows you to draw and chat with multiple users. You can join in with others or just sit back, watch and learn. Please keep in mind that many people have access to the canvas at the same time - be polite and mind other users. Inappropriate behaviour will get you banned from Paintchat.

For identification purposes, please use your nick from oekaki to log in. Then use the "input" line to chat.

The canvas is purged every day at 16:00 CEST.

Attention! In order to access Paintchat you must be logged in and have Paintchat rights. To obtain these rights you need to send a message to Paintchat moderators. They will base their decision on your age and skill. Your work must be worthy of at least Level2.

Additional information

• The applet offers the same range of tools as Shi Painter.
• The canvas is NOT saved anywhere! You alone are responsible for saving your work. The only way to do this is to take a screenshot. You can upload screenshots of your work into the Paintchat gallery.

Troubleshooting

• Always use the "Leave" button to exit the program - otherwise your browser retains all the old information in its memory and might not load properly. To remedy this, restart your browser.
• If, despite restarting your browser, Paintchat refuses to load correctly, terminate it: press ctrl+alt+del to open the Windows Task Manager, go to the "Processes" tab, select "firefox.exe", click "end process", then "yes".
• If Paintchat doesn't load in Firefox, make sure you have the latest version of both Firefox and Java.
