Since the original idea didn't turn out well, I decided to go with something that suggests after the hotel, and Brii returning to reality;

Having completed the tasks giving to her whilst in purgatory.
Though having been returned to her world, it meant leaving behind Ian - something that broke her heart and she still grieves, even as she started to forget the memories of the hotel, she still felt something was missing...
However; due to her exprience between the world in between and her clairvoyant abilitles, Death can create a link between the road to purgatory/the hotel's gates and Brii's subconsciousness as she sleeps, but /only/ when she sleeps - this gives Ian enough to cross over during this time. Brii thinks of these as dreams, and remembers everything during sleep (the hotel, the residents, Ian..); only to forget once more as she wakes up the next day... sometimes she'll feel a single red rose on her bedside, and smile.
